If you do not have technical skills please do not assemble a bike yourself. Go to bike shop and have them assembly it for you.
We see almost daily customers who try to save $15 and assemble their bike themselves. Later they come wondering why the bike doesn’t ride as well as they expected. If the bike is assembled wrong it will not ride well. It can be very dangerous too!
Here are pictures of some bikes customers brought back.

In case you’re wondering what the arrow in the first photo is pointing at, it’s the retention washer which provides an extra margin of safety by preventing the wheel from possibly falling off if the axle nuts were to come loose during an impact. If you look closely, you’ll see a small tab at the bottom of the washer. The washer should be installed on the outside of the fork next to the axle nut with the tab inserted in the small hole in the fork which is just above the axle nut as shown in the photo.
